LyxPro 39" TL Series Beginner Electric Guitar

I’m a left handed player and don’t get menu options. I have a fender strat and Les Paul guitars. This guitar you can tell is budget compared. But, it is awesome for what it is . The pick ups switched and knobs feel and work fine. The sound is good out of the box. Neck is straight and frets feel good and clean. Paint looks great. The downside was the strings could not keep it in tune. Buzzed like crazy and dint sound right. I always restring my guitars when they are new and it fixed the issue. Improved the sound. No buzz and kept in tune. Some may be more picky when it comes to the tuners, but it kept my new strings in tune for a week and I haven’t had to re tune it. I gave them some time to stretch. Plugged in in and have been having fun with it. Looks good and plays well. I do like the neck when playing chords feels close to my strat.

Customer service was top notch. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the guitar! Except for a small blemish (under the gloss varnish) it’s very nice guitar for the money.

Definitely the best beginner guitar I've played and has the potential to be a good second guitar for an experienced player. The price was incredible considering almost everything these days are over priced. Shipping was fast. It came out of the box, I tuned it, and started playing. I recommend this to anyone looking for a beginner guitar.

I own an electric guitar that was old, beat up, not even full size. The Lyx guitar I bought was a massive upgrade. It might not be perfect for a professional but it definitely has some features for every level of playing.

Very pleased! Haven't tried playing guitar in 20 years, so I wanted an inexpensive "kit" with guitar, amp, cord and tuner .. the Lyx Strat copy proved to be an excellent choice. I got the "natural" color and love the look. On arrival, the action was indeed high, so I found some step-by-step instructions for set up on Guitar Player's site .. adjusted the neck and bridge saddles using the tools provided and began playing very comfortably. The guitar sounds good and the amp is definitely loud enough for practicing in an apartment where I want to show a little concern for the neighbors! Package arrived safely and quickly. I'll continue to tweak the basic setup slightly, then adjust the intonation when new strings are installed. Strings provided do feel cheap, but do the job. VERY pleased with the overall look, feel and sound .. would definitely recommend (and note that doing some setup work will almost certainly be necessary.)
